These Parmesan Chicken Nuggets are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Baked, not fried, they’re healthier, easy to make, and perfect for a snack, dinner, or party food. The cheesy, crunchy coating makes them irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, for dipping
  • Olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
  5. Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, coating each piece thoroughly.
  6. Place the coated chicken nuggets on the prepared baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, mix panko breadcrumbs with regular breadcrumbs.
  • Olive oil helps the coating crisp up beautifully during baking.
  • You can freeze the breaded nuggets before baking and bake them from frozen when needed.
