1oz Simple syrup
1 pinch Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2oz Fresh lemon juice
Crushed ice (to fill the shaker and glass)
Club soda (optional, for a fizzy twist)
Instructions
Muddle the Blackberries In a cocktail shaker, muddle a handful of fresh blackberries to release the juice.
Add the Liquids Add 2 ounces of bourbon, 1 ounce of simple syrup, a pinch of cinnamon, a dash of vanilla extract, and 1/2 ounce of fresh lemon juice to the muddled blackberries.
Shake It Up Add crushed ice to the shaker and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Strain and Serve Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. For a smoother drink, double strain to remove blackberry seeds.
Add a Fizz (Optional) Top with club soda for a fizzy twist and stir gently.
Garnish and Enjoy Garnish with fresh blackberries or a cinnamon stick.
Notes
For a sweeter cocktail, add more simple syrup or blackberry liqueur.
If you prefer a lighter version, skip the club soda.
