1/2pound breakfast sausage
4 large eggs
1cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or preferred type)
1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it into crumbles. Once browned, drain excess grease and set aside.
Scramble the Eggs: In the same pan, scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Roll-Ups: Separate the crescent dough into triangles. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs and sausage on the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle with cheese and roll them up tightly.
Bake: Arrange the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve: Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!
Notes
Don’t overfill the roll-ups to prevent leaking.
Brush with butter for an extra crispy, golden finish.
