A crispy, cheesy pizza crust topped with all your favorite taco fillings. This Sheet Pan Taco Pizza brings together the best of both worlds—tacos and pizza—perfect for a quick, easy, and family-friendly dinner.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough: 1 package (store-bought or homemade, enough for a 12×18-inch sheet pan)
  • Ground beef or turkey: 1 lb (450g)
  • Taco seasoning: 1 packet (about 1 oz or 28g)
  • Salsa: 1/2 cup (120ml)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese: 2 cups (about 8 oz or 225g)
  • Shredded lettuce: 1-2 cups (depending on preference)
  • Diced tomatoes: 1 cup (about 1 medium tomato)
  • Sliced black olives: 1/4 cup (about 6-8 olives)
  • Sour cream: 1/2 cup (120ml)
  • Jalapeños (optional): 2-3, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro (optional): 1/4 cup, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare the Pizza Dough: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a sheet pan, pressing it out to cover the surface.
  2. Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water as instructed on the seasoning packet. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Assemble the Pizza: Spread a thin layer of salsa on the pizza dough. Evenly distribute the taco meat over the salsa and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake: Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
  5. Add Fresh Toppings: After baking, top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, jalapeños, sour cream, and cilantro.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce before baking.
  • Use your favorite protein (beef, turkey, chicken, or a vegetarian option).
  • For more cheese, add extra on top after baking or on the taco meat.
