Delicious peach bread with a moist and tender crumb, bursting with juicy peaches and topped with a sweet glaze.

Bread:

  • 2 1/2 cup Peaches, diced
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Glaze:

  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together sugar, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold in the diced peaches.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Make glaze: In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
  7. Glaze: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled peach bread before serving.

Notes

  • You can add chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
