Bread:
- 2 1/2 cup Peaches, diced
- 2 cup Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Glaze:
- 2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp Milk
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together sugar, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold in the diced peaches.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Make glaze: In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
- Glaze: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled peach bread before serving.
Notes
- You can add chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
