Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 cod fillets (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Fresh lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle the fillets with olive oil, then rub the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of each fillet.
  5. Place the cod fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  6. Air fry the cod fillets at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through. The fish should be opaque and flaky when tested with a fork.
  7. Serve with fresh lemon wedges and your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your cod fillets. Thicker fillets may need a couple of extra minutes.
  • If using frozen cod, make sure to thaw it thoroughly before cooking for the best results.
  • You can also use other fish fillets like tilapia or haddock if desired.
