1 lb Ground beef
1 can Kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can Diced tomatoes
1 can Crushed tomatoes
1 Onion (chopped)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
3 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Paprika
2 cups Beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Brown the Beef: Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Once cooked through, drain excess fat.
Add Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until softened.
Add Spices: Stir in chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Let the spices cook for a minute to bring out their flavor.
Simmer the Chili: Add diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth to the pot. Stir everything together and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Adjust Seasoning: Taste the chili and adjust seasoning with more chili powder or salt if needed.
