Homemade B!tchin’ Sauce is a creamy, flavorful dip that’s perfect for veggies, sandwiches, or tacos. With just the right amount of garlic, spice, and tang, this homemade version is much tastier and fresher than store-bought.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup raw cashews (soaked for 46 hours or overnight)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the Cashews: Soak raw cashews for 4-6 hours or overnight (or soak in hot water for 30 minutes if in a rush).
  2. Blend the Ingredients: Drain and add the cashews to a high-speed blender or food processor. Add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, garlic, nutritional yeast, olive oil, chili flakes, and salt & pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Chill and Serve: Transfer the sauce to a container, chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.
  4. Enjoy!: Serve as a dip with veggies, tortilla chips, or crackers, or drizzle over tacos or sandwiches.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use a high-speed blender.
  • Add extra chili flakes for more heat, or adjust the lemon juice for extra tang.
