These gluten-free air fryer chicken nuggets are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are seasoned with a flavorful blend of spices and coated in a crunchy panko breadcrumb mixture.

Chicken:

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 3 tablespoons gluten free all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Egg wash:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk

Breading:

  • 1 ½ cups gluten free panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Old bay seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Season the chicken: In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken pieces in this mixture.
  3. Make the egg wash: Whisk together the eggs and non-dairy milk in a shallow bowl.
  4. Coat the chicken: Dip the seasoned chicken pieces in the egg wash, then coat them in the panko breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Air fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the breaded chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, spray the breaded nuggets with cooking spray before air frying.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your preference by adding more or less of the spices.
