3½ cups chicken broth (low sodium)
½ cup hot water
1 cup black beans (dried, rinsed)
1 cup yellow onion (chopped)
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon sugar
Salt and pepper (to taste)

4 links country pork sausage (reduced-fat)
2 cups diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce

2 leaves basil (chopped)
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients: In a crockpot, combine chicken broth, hot water, black beans, onion, bay leaves, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper.
Cook Sausage: Brown the country pork sausage in a skillet, then add it to the crockpot.
Add Remaining Ingredients: Stir in diced tomatoes, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, and Sriracha sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
