3/4 cup Butter, softened
1/2 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Guittard Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions
Creaming: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Adding Ingredients: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking: Scoop dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
You can chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
