This Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich is a delicious twist on the classic Caesar salad, with crispy breaded chicken cutlets, romaine lettuce, and a homemade Caesar dressing, all sandwiched between crusty French baguettes.

  • 12 garlic cloves minced

Chicken:

  • 5 chicken cutlets
  • sea salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Flour Mixture:

  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika

Egg Mixture:

  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Breadcrumbs Mixture:

  • ¾ cup panko crumbs
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Assembly:

  • 2 romaine hearts chopped
  • 12 French baguettes
  • Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare Caesar Dressing: In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Prep Chicken: Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper. Coat each cutlet in flour mixture, then dip in egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs mixture.
  3. Fry Chicken: Heat oil in a pan and fry the breaded chicken cutlets until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Assemble Sandwich: Spread Caesar dressing on baguette halves, place fried chicken on top, add chopped romaine lettuce, and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.
