  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (or to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or your preferred pasta)
  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Sauté the Sausage and Veggies: In the same skillet, add more olive oil and cook the smoked sausage slices until browned. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
