Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
    • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
    • Remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  2. Assemble the Wraps:

    • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side to make them more pliable.
    • Place an equal amount of shredded lettuce on each tortilla.
    • Add the sliced chicken strips, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
    • Drizzle ranch dressing over the fillings.
    • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly to enclose the fillings.
  3. Serve:

    • Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the spice mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Feel free to add other ingredients like sliced avocado, crispy bacon, or sautéed onions to customize your wrap.
  • To make the wraps ahead of time, prepare the fillings and store them separately in the refrigerator. Assemble the wraps just before serving to prevent the tortillas from becoming soggy.
