Ingredients
UnitsScale
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
4 large flour tortillas
1cup shredded lettuce
1cup diced tomatoes
1/2cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2cup ranch dressing
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
Assemble the Wraps:
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side to make them more pliable.
Place an equal amount of shredded lettuce on each tortilla.
Add the sliced chicken strips, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Drizzle ranch dressing over the fillings.
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly to enclose the fillings.
Serve:
Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the spice mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
Feel free to add other ingredients like sliced avocado, crispy bacon, or sautéed onions to customize your wrap.
To make the wraps ahead of time, prepare the fillings and store them separately in the refrigerator. Assemble the wraps just before serving to prevent the tortillas from becoming soggy.
