Chicken Lazone is a creamy and flavorful pasta dish made with seasoned chicken strips cooked in a rich buttery cream sauce, served over spaghetti and garnished with fresh parsley.

Seasoning:

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Chicken and Sauce:

  • 1 pound chicken breasts (boneless and skinless, cut into long strips)
  • 4 tablespoon butter (unsalted, divided)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 12 ounce spaghetti (or linguini)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken: In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, white pepper, and salt. Season the chicken strips with this mixture.
  2. Cook the chicken: In a large skillet, cook the seasoned chicken strips in 2 tablespoons of butter until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Combine and serve: Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet with the sauce. Serve over cooked spaghetti or linguini. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
