Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken (rotisserie or grilled)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Ranch or marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the Garlic Chicken
In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes until warmed through. Remove from heat.

2. Assemble the Wraps
Lay each flour tortilla flat. Divide the garlic chicken evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken.

3. Wrap and Seal
Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll them up tightly, like a burrito. Brush each wrap with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

4. Cook the Wraps
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

5. Serve and Enjoy
Remove from heat and let them cool for a minute before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with ranch or marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • You can use any cheese you prefer, but a mix of mozzarella and Parmesan gives the best flavor.
  • Swap out the chicken for cooked turkey or even shredded beef for a variation.
  • Add sautéed bell peppers, onions, or spinach for extra flavor and texture.
