1 Tbsp smoked paprika
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or less, to taste
1/2 tsp packed light brown sugar
1/4 tsp dried thyme
Steak bites:
1 1/2 lbs. steak strip steak, sirloin, ribeye, etc.
2 Tbsp vegetable oil divided
3 Tbsp unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic finely minced or grated
minced fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Prepare Cajun seasoning: In a bowl, combine all the Cajun seasoning blend ingredients.
Cook steak: Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and coat with the Cajun seasoning. Heat oil in a skillet and cook the steak until desired doneness.
